Fault diagnosis
The piston slips or crawls
Hydraulic cylinder piston slip or creep will make the hydraulic cylinder work unstable. The main reasons are as follows:
Internal astringency of hydraulic cylinder. Improper assembly of internal parts of the hydraulic cylinder, deformation, wear or shape and position tolerance exceeding the limit, action resistance is too large, so that the hydraulic cylinder piston speed changes with the different stroke position, slip or crawl. The reason is mostly due to poor assembly quality of parts, surface scars or sintered iron filings, so that the resistance increases and the speed decreases. For example: piston and piston rod different center or piston rod bending, hydraulic cylinder or piston rod to guide rail installation position deviation, sealing ring installed too tight or too loose, etc. The solution is to repair or adjust, replace damaged parts and remove iron filings.
